Mishigu Egg Hatchling

~Mishigu!

You pick up your egg. It feels exactly like a rock, though you think it might feel a bit warm. It calls to you, draws you to keep holding it, and though the clutch of eggs is wide and varied this is the one you like the most. You take it with you and hope it will hatch.

It does, of course. The thing shakes a bit, and you stare at it in your hands. It's rocking and shaking increase until it's too violent for you to hold and you place it on the ground. It thrashes itself around.

Soon enough, layers of rock start crumbling from the egg and a small, gray figure tumbles away from the rubble. It's skin seems to be made of stone, grass precariously perches upon its head like hair and it rolls around in the dirt listlessly.

It turns and blinks up at you with large blue eyes.
